What Our Clients Say

Tarawera High School has been using the facilities at the Lake Okataina Education Centre for over 7 years. We bring our year 9 cohort out there for our annual beginning of the year whakawhanaungatanga camp as it's an excellent venue for many reasons.
We just want to thank the care takers of the camp Slim & Karen, they are very accommodating and friendly, even Shakespeare the beautiful guard dog. Our kids always fall in love with him and want to take him home every time. We really appreciate the Manaakitanga and Aroha that is shared to us when we stay. The facilities are perfect for our groups. It’s almost like a home away from home, very safe and comfortable. Thank you very much.
